abstract

molybdate sulfuric acid (msa) has been prepared and used as catalyst for the biginelli synthesis of some quinazolinones/thiones under solvent-free conditions. the catalyst loading is low and it shows recyclability. this method has advantages such as avoidance of the organic solvents, high yield of pure products, short reaction times and operational simplicity.

Synthesis of tri and four substituted imidazoles derivatives using zinc oxid nanotubes modified by SiO2 as a powerful and reusable catalyst

In recent years, zinc oxid nanotubes have attracted much attention. The direct use of , zinc oxidnanotubes modified by SiO2 as recoverable catalysts for organic reactions is very rare. The catalystswere characterized by XRD. The average particle size of ZnO catalysts is 57 nm and there are highdensitydefects on nanotubes surfaces . A simple and efficient method for the imidazol derivativessynth...

Silica sulfuric acid as an efficient and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of formamidines from the diaminomaleonitrile

Silica sulfuric acid as an efficient and reusable heterogeneous catalyst has been used for the preparation of amidines 2 from formimidate 1 by reaction with aromatic amines at room temperature in good to excellent yields. Imidate was prepared by treatment of equimolar quantities of triethyl orthoformate and diaminomaleonitrile in refluxing dioxane. All the compounds were characterized fully by ...
